Phase 3 Raid Consumables
Build a repeatable Black Temple and Hyjal consumables kit. Exact choices depend on class, spec and encounter, but every progression raider should arrive with the same categories covered.
Flask or Elixir setup
Choose either an appropriate flask or a compatible battle + guardian elixir combination. Progression deaths make persistent flask value especially convenient.
Food
Use the food buff that supports your primary throughput or survival stat. Carry extra stacks because Hyjal progression can include many attempts and wave resets.
Potions
Mana, Haste, Destruction, Ironshield and other potions compete for potion usage. Your class guide should determine which one creates the most encounter value.
Weapon buffs
Wizard/Mana oils, sharpening stones, weightstones and class weapon imbues are easy to forget. Verify which effects are compatible with your class.
Drums & group utility
Leatherworking drums remain a raid-planning tool in TBC. Coordinate use at the group level rather than having players overlap them randomly.
Encounter extras
Carry resistance pieces or special consumables when your strategy calls for them. Mother Shahraz is the clearest Phase 3 example.
Use your spec guide
Consumables are not identical for a Protection Warrior, Arcane Mage and Restoration Shaman. Our class guides give spec-level recommendations and link directly to Phase 3 BiS.
