Enchanting converts unwanted gear into materials and supplies permanent gear enhancements. It stays relevant every raid tier because new items immediately create new enchant demand.
Enchanting 1–375 skill bands
Material prices vary by realm, so this route uses flexible skill bands instead of pretending one shopping list is always cheapest.
Level through Classic bracer, cloak, glove and weapon enchants while upgrading your enchanting rods at the required breakpoints.
Outland dust/essence enchants and the Runed Fel Iron Rod open the Master range.
Use Arcane Dust and Greater Planar Essence recipes that are economical on your realm; avoid expensive shards when a dust route is still orange/yellow.
Higher-stat ring, glove, cloak and weapon recipes become available; recipe access increasingly matters.
The final levels can be expensive. Compare reputation/world-drop recipes and enchant items for guildmates instead of crafting into a void.
Recipes turn yellow/green at different skill levels and skill-ups are not guaranteed. Buy a buffer of materials and compare Auction House prices before committing to the most expensive final crafts.
