Why Shadow Resistance matters
Mother Shahraz deals heavy Shadow damage and combines it with Fatal Attraction. A progression raid commonly prepares dedicated Shadow Resistance sets so unavoidable damage is easier to heal.
Do not treat one resistance number as universal.
Your target depends on raid strategy, buffs, available gear and how much throughput your group can safely trade for resistance. Build the set before raid night and verify the final value while fully buffed.
Preparation checklist
- Collect Shadow Resistance pieces before reaching Mother Shahraz.
- Coordinate class buffs and resistance aura/totem coverage.
- Keep enough normal throughput stats to perform your role.
- Practice Fatal Attraction movement; resistance does not replace mechanics.
